Yes, your casks are fully insured from the start of your ownership and prepaid for a term.
The insurance covers:
Damage (including accidental damage),
Full losses if these were caused by damage,
And theft.
When losses or damage is NOT covered:
Loss or damage caused by the owner,
Loss or damage by extreme circumstances that constitute a 'force majeure' or result in climactic changes,
Loss or damage if your cask is moved before the end of the storage period (for example, at your request),
Loss or damage to contents while the cask bung is removed,
Unexplained losses or shortages, through general 'wear and tear' or during the bottling/blending process.
